Our history and expertise
From dried fruit to soft fruit since 1992
The story of expertise
More than 30 years ago, in a village in Lot-et-Garonne, a man had a simple idea: to restore all the flavor and tenderness to dried fruit. Jean-Yves Cadalen spent years perfecting his rehydration process, which remains a secret. Today, Émeric and Michaël continue this adventure with the same conviction: good fruit deserves to be treated with care, patience, and passion.
Step 1 · Origins
An artisanal process that gives birth to the soft fruit as you know it today. In a small factory, with strong convictions, he created a unique range, guided by the merit of good fruit.
It all starts with a passion
Fruit Gourmet was born from a bold idea: to transform dried fruit into something exceptional. Jean-Yves Cadalen, founder of ID Fruit Plus, developed the recipe for rehydrated dried fruit.

Step 2 · Transmission
Respecting the founding methods, they are injecting new energy into the company: structuring, developing, and making Fruit Gourmet shine beyond its initial borders. A successful transmission, driven by a passion for the product.
A new generation at the helm

Step 3 - The development of the fleshy fruit
Machinery evolves, volumes increase, but each soft fruit retains this fundamental principle: respect for the product, its texture, and its natural taste. Today, our workshops combine industrial precision with artisanal standards.
The Birth of a Specialty
